#MMBBR #Review Living with a SEAL: 31 Days Training with the Toughest Man on the Planet by Jesse Itzler @the100MileMan

Entrepreneur Jesse Itzler will try almost anything. He brazenly pretended to be an established hip-hop artist to secure a meeting with a studio head-and it led to a record deal. He convinced a bunch successful business executives to invest in an unprecedented business plan- and it turned into Marquis Jet. He sincerely offered to run a 100-mile race in Spanx to get the attention of the beautiful founder of the company-and ended up marrying her.

His life is about being bold and risky. And it's brought him plenty of rewards.

So when Jesse felt himself drifting on autopilot, he hired a rather unconventional trainer to live with him for a month-an accomplished Navy SEAL widely considered to be "the toughest man on the planet"!

Living with a SEAL is like a buddy movie if it starred the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air... and Rambo. Jesse is about as easy-going as you can get. SEAL is...not. He even shows up at Jesse's apartment with an inflatable raft just in case the Itzler family ever has to escape Manhattan by crossing the Hudson River.

Jesse and SEAL's escapades soon produce a great friendship, and by the time SEAL leaves, Jesse is in the best shape of his life, but he gains much more than muscle. At turns hilarious and inspiring,Living with a SEAL ultimately shows you the benefits of stepping out of your comfort zone.

MR MOMMY BOOKNERD'S BOOK REVIEW:

Jesse Itzler is an entrepreneur, married to an entrepreneur, and is on a continuous journey of self improvement.  Itzler let’s us into his life for the one month he brought a complete stranger into his home to help him become an improved ultra distance runner.  Throughout the journey, Itzler provides us insight into his success and failures as an entrepreneur so you can understand how a complete stranger ends up in his home.

Itzler became fascinated by SEAL at a 24 hr endurance running event.  This self supported event required individuals and teams to bring along their own gear and nutrition to sustain them for the 24 hours.  Itzler ran the event with five of his close friends and enough gear to support a small village.  SEAL immediately catches his eye as he does not fit the ultra endurance demographic, has several bottles of water, a box of saltine crackers, and is running the event solo.

Intrigued by SEAL’s performance, Itzler reaches out and SEAL agrees to live with Itzler for one month.  However, there is a catch.  Itzler must do everything SEAL says. Everything from multiple daily running sessions in the freezing conditions to burpee test in between conference calls..  Itzler’s journey has laugh out loud moments, his perspective of the world is enlighten, and we still only know SEAL as this mysterious figure who embraces the perceived impossible.  4 stars
