Silly Little Sleepyhead was created by the writing and illustrating duo the Wilson Brothers. Wes and Ryan Wilson have been infatuated with picture books since they were young and have dreamed of creating books together for a long time. Silly Little Sleepyhead is the first book that they have completed together. The book follows Sleepyhead around as he falls asleep on dogs, in trees, at football games and many other random places. The illustrations are colorful and eye catching and the story is quirky and entertaining. Children will absolutely love reading this book and parents will find it to be a fun read as well.

MY REVIEW:
This is a delightful sing song story book with rhyming text what will entrance both kids and adults alike.  It is such a fun story about a boy who falls asleep just about anywhere you can think of.  My kids thought it was quite silly!  So fun!!!

For his birthday, Pablo receives exactly what he doesn't want: a chair. Disappointed and angry, he locks himself in his room, determined not to sit on his new chair. But he starts to play around with it and, by the end of the day, becomes a chair acrobat. Pablo sets out into the world, performing in amazing places and drawing great crowds. Eventually, he returns, chair in hand, having learned that the greatest gifts aren't always the most obvious and often lie in our imagination.

MY REVIEW:
This is a cute story that captures imagination and adventure upon the receipt of a chair.  Once Pablo gets the chair for his birthday he is quite upset, but then he goes on an adventure and when he comes home he is able to share all his tales.  A wonderful story that will cause any child to think on the bright side and find happiness even when first disappointed.

Buddy Bloom is a flower seed looking forward to fresh air, sunshine, and gentle rain to help him grow. After a raging storm-with help from George the Ant, Ken the Turtle, and Sadie the Butterfly, he learns the value of struggle, the joy of friendship, and the celebration of life.
"Children who love fantasy and anthropomorphic characters will enjoy the adventures and lessons of a little wildflower seed named Buddy Bloom. With courage and persistence, he meets his challenges. Good friends offer him important discoveries plus wisdom and help him find his place in the world and his reason for blooming." -Mimi Brodsky Chenfeld, author, teacher, consultant
"I have always believed that if one can tell a great story, one earns the right to share the message. These engaging characters will teach young and old about dealing with challenges, overcoming adversity, and living with possibility." -Jim Stovall, author, The Ultimate Gift
"In this digital age, old-fashioned storytelling seems to be a dying art. Jerry Snider keeps the tradition alive with this allegory about the trials and joys that help us grow to reach our potential." -Dave Kershner, singer, songwriter, musician
"The story of Buddy Bloom captures the spirit of resilience and perseverance for young and old alike. We should all aspire to be positive in our delight in the world and how we relate to others. Well-written and insightful, this is an inspirational story that touches the heart...a beautiful gift to share." -Pamela Kaylor PhD, Communication Studies, Ohio University

MY REVIEW:
A story that captures the pure powers that we have within us with characters that show what it means to truly preserve.  This story illustrates to young readers what it means to work through challenges and we able to feel the joy after doing so.
