I personally feel that board books are some of the most important books can we, as parents, can get in our homes and into the hands of our young kids.  These books are the books that become the building blocks of our children's love of reading.  They are built to withstand chomping teeth, dropping on the floor and all the other things that toddlers can throw at them.  Plus, what is better than snuggling up with your child and reading together.  It is an outstanding combination of durability and building lifelong memories.

I love Sandra Boynton.  She is a genius when is comes to the beauty of board books.  In her newest book, we learn the names of dinosaurs and dance several funny dances.  This book encourages movement and learning!  The illustrations are so adorable!!!  A hit for all little readers.

An adorable book that teaches young readers about animals and grants a wish to for the Zoo to find the perfect pet!  The illustrations are adorable and will be a hit for you and your young reader. 

Such a cute flap book that plays hide and seek with baby!  This is a great book to use as an interactive activity with your young reader.  I love that the illustrations embrace all the beautiful faces of babies.

I love this new to me take on Snow White, which is based out of Japan.  The story is wonderful and captures the brilliant story in an easy and condensed form that will sure to entertain young readers.  With illustrations that spark imagination and could be used for picture story telling.
